Orangutans, with their wise eyes and gentle nature, are truly special creatures. Sadly, these "people of the forest" are facing a crisis, teetering on the brink of extinction. The lush rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra, their only homes, are vanishing at an alarming rate, replaced by palm oil plantations and other human developments. This deforestation robs orangutans of their food and shelter, leaving them vulnerable to starvation and conflict with humans.  

Adding to their woes, the illegal pet trade cruelly tears baby orangutans from their mothers, further decimating their populations.

Your purchase will help with the conservation of Endangered and Critical Endangered species like orangutans.

Each painting in this series was created on handmade recycled paper and is approximately 6x8.5 inches. The proceeds from this project have the potential to raise $10,000 for wildlife conservation, specifically helping Endangered to Critical Endangered species.
