These marsupials are true originals, hopping across the outback with incredible speed and agility. They range in size from the small and cute wallabies to the towering red kangaroo, the largest of all marsupials. Kangaroos are social animals, living in groups called "mobs" that graze together for grasses and other vegetation. And of course, no description of a kangaroo is complete without mentioning their unique parenting style: carrying their young, called joeys, in a pouch on their belly until they're big enough to venture out on their own.
