There are three species of Zebra alive today: the plains zebra, the mountain zebra, and the Grévy’s zebra. All can be found in Africa. Over the years the numbers have severely decreased due to many reasons, from habitat loss and competing with other grazers to sadly being hunted for their skins.
Currently, the Grevy's zebra and the mountain zebra are classified as Endangered, and the plains zebra is classifed as Near Threatened.

Each painting in this series was created on handmade recycled paper and is approximately 6x8.5 inches. The proceeds from this project have the potential to raise $10,000 for wildlife conservation, specifically helping Endangered to Critical Endangered species.
